Terry L. Byrd

Terry has practiced law in the Jacksonville area since 1989. He received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 1978, majoring in finance and real estate. He worked in the business and insurance industry until 1985, when he returned to school to earn a law degree. After graduating with honors from the University of Toledo, he returned to Jacksonville and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989. He practiced as a defense attorney, primarily representing insurance carriers.

Terry opened his own law firm in 1998, representing individuals and small businesses. He brings a blend of business and insurance experience to his law practice, as well as extensive experience in both jury and non-jury trials. Terry practices before all Florida courts, as well as the United States Federal District Court, Middle District.
